Prepare better, recover quicker
Hospitals often struggle with preoperative assessment and the assessment of patients for procedures in endoscopy suites, cardiac catheter laboratories and interventional radiology theatres. Large numbers of patients with varying risks and priorities can be hard to manage, creating bottlenecks, pressures on staff and huge deviations in Referral to Treatment Time.
Ultraprep allows a consistent, efficient approach to be applied to these different assessments. Patients are sent an SMS or email with a code to access the relevant online questionnaire with their demographics being pulled from the Patient Administration System.
Once complete, the patient shares their information with the hospital. This is reviewed by clinicians and suggested tests and actions are taken. Once cleared through the pre-procedure assessment the patient can be booked for their procedure.
A Clinical Summary report provides a record of the patient entered information, the actions taken by clinicians and their notes. It is exported automatically into the Electronic Patient Record.
